Privacy
What we collect, why, and who sees it. Short, because we collect little.
What we collect
- Account details — username, email, display name, and optionally your school.
- Item records — what you send in, our photos and grades of it, and its ownership history.
- Addresses — only for shipping items back to you.
- Transaction history — trades and wallet activity, which we're required to retain.
What we don't collect
Card numbers and bank details never touch our servers — those go directly to our payments provider. Identity verification documents go to the verification provider, not to us; we only receive a pass or fail.
What other users see
Your username, display name, school if you set one, bio, rating, trade count, join date, and the items you currently hold in the vault. Your email, address, wallet balance and transaction history are never public.
Retention
Trade and wallet records are kept for seven years for tax and anti-fraud purposes. Everything else is deleted within 30 days of you closing your account.
Your rights
Request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time. Deletion requests that would break a retention obligation are honoured for everything except those specific records.
