How this works
Normal marketplaces make two strangers ship to each other and hope. We skip that by holding everything ourselves. Once your stuff is in the vault, a trade is just a change of name on a shelf.
- 01
Box it up
Tell us what's going in — as many items as you like. You pick "ship it" (we generate a prepaid label) or "drop it off" at a campus point. One intake fee of $4.99 covers the whole box, so bundling is always cheaper than sending things one at a time.
- 02
We inspect and grade
A person opens the box, photographs each item, gives it a condition grade, and sets an estimated value based on what comparable things actually trade for here. Anything we can't accept gets a specific reason, not a form letter.
- 03
It lands in your inventory
Each item gets a unique ID and a shelf position in the vault. From that moment it's tradeable — it shows up in the public vault and in your closet.
- 04
Trade without shipping
Build an offer: your items, their items, and dollars on either side. They can accept, counter, or decline. The second both sides agree, ownership flips in one transaction. The item doesn't move — it's already here.
- 05
Ship home when you want it
Pay $8.99 and we pack and mail everything you've selected. That's the only time an item physically moves for you.
The rules that matter
An item can only be in one offer at a time.
The moment you put something in an offer, it's locked. Nobody can promise the same hoodie to two people, and you can't accidentally trade something twice.
Everything moves at once, or nothing does.
Items and dollars transfer in a single database transaction. If any part fails — insufficient funds, an item that moved — the whole thing is rolled back and nothing is charged.
Uneven trades are allowed.
We show you both sides' estimated value so you can judge, but we don't block you. If you want to overpay for something you love, that's your call.
Items can sit for 180 days.
You get warnings at 30 and 7 days out. Trading an item restarts its clock completely — so anything actively moving never ages out.
The balance is US dollars.
Not points, not a token. You add funds, spend them in trades, and cash out to your bank once your identity is verified.
